Herbier sensible

This project is an excuse to learn from people with perception on the world that usually doesn’t reach me. For the sake of bursting my social bubble, I’am hacking the herbarium, these emblematic artefact of natural sciences.
I am cooperating with artists and documentary makers to reveal a sensible dimension of this journey.

Since early 2020, I have a strong interest for plants. While being comfortable by the surrounding unknown botanical diversity, I wish to be intimate with those plants. I’am harvesting fragments of vegetables, trying to recognize and to prepare them in order to constitue a plastic memory. Every board  presents a plant and relates informations just like classical herbarium. This sheets are leaning on maps and texts to present in an aesthetic way informations such as morphology, geography, taxonomy and a story of the harvest.

All the botanical sheets created are forming these memory, also called fragmented herbarium. I am using those artefact to share my eyes on the world through public exhibitions. Herbarium boards could be buy to sustain my work (see shop) For any questions, quote or larger project, you can write me via the contact form.
